Do not send your loved ones here! They SAY they want to help….. all about money! Shame on you! If zero stars were an option I would of selected it!
The leadership is truly the best in the industry! Jarom is an incredible leader and selects only the best to work with the residents. Madison, SSD, is extremely passionate and dedicate to the patients. You cannot go wrong with this facility!
This place is improving with new management team.

Staff treats families of patients terribly, bayonetting the wounded by rubbing their faces in the amount of care given already given by the family. In our case it was someone who CHOSE to live on the streets after years of trying to help. We also have other special needs members. Worst of all, they did this to the children too, who don’t have the emotional or financial means to help. They further wound the wounded by their morally superior act. The make phony replies to reviews on other platforms. Also sketchy neighborhood, just off Colfax and no visble security as patients walk around outside. Family member died under suspicious circumstances and they couldn’t get him to the crematorium fast enough

What follows is the text of the thank you note I was moved to send to the Sierra team on August 3, 2021: It was for the saddest of reasons that I boarded a plane in Chicago last Wednesday (the 28th) and flew to Denver, and from there cabbed it to Lakewood. Sitting bedside while my childhood friend Eric Alenius drew his final breaths was incredibly difficult. But the courteousness, kindness, and solicitousness of every staff member I encountered during my two visits helped to cushion the ordeal. A special thanks to Kelly for her great thoughtfulness in telling me that when Eric learned I was coming he grew excited; considering that he was barely responsive during the hours I was with him, I don’t know how true this really was, which only adds to the thoughtfulness of the gesture. I remain also thankful for Kelly’s assistance in helping me find a place to stay that night. Also, a special shout-out to the cheerful gal who secured permission for me to sit with my friend an hour before the eight o’clock opening on my second visit when she saw me sitting outside waiting. I didn’t ask to be admitted early–she took it upon herself. Because of her thoughtfulness I was able to spend more time with my friend before I had to catch my return flight home. A special thanks also to the lovely lady who spent time answering additional questions in the hallway outside Eric’s room before I left (was her name Cheryl? My apologies if I am wrong). God bless you all. You’re a great team doing great work in the one of the toughest jobs of all.

My father stayed here for two weeks before passing away. This was unexpected but they did everything to help him and our family. They really made him as comfortable as possible and that helped us start to process what was happening. I really appreciate the doctor, nurses and administration for how they treated my father. They are very near to my heart.
My sister lived at Sierra Rehab from August 2017 to Oct 2, 2017 and received the most wonderful care from all of the staff. From the helpful and thoughtful social worker, to the nurses, CNAs. activity gals and housekeeping staff, my sister received the best of care and oversight as she transitioned from being admitted for rehab to gently slipping into hospice protocol. The staff creates a community feeling and some of the patients help out which benefits everyone. I felt the positive energy of Sierra from the first day until my sister’s peaceful passing in this caring place. The staff was very kind, compassionate and friendly to me as well and that helped me at a difficult time.
Really friendly and good to their patients!
I am a friend or relative of a resident My sister is in Sierra Healthcare Community. They have very nice people and it’s a very good place. She likes it. They’re very good, patient, nice, understanding, and seem to know what the patients require. They do craft projects, group get-togethers, and music.
